SESSION Abstract: Dolphins, Vineyards and Balloons: A Life Led by Curiosity

What connects working with dolphins in Mexico, managing a vineyard in New Zealand and creating balloon art? For Tere Morales, these experiences offer a starting point for exploring curiosity, creativity and the possibilities of changing direction. Drawing on her travels through 14 countries and her work in tourism, Tere shares how different roles have shaped her approach to people, places and memorable experiences. This session invites you to consider the interests you have yet to explore, the skills you might use differently and what being a beginner could offer. Come ready for stories, reflection and conversation about your next chapter.

Key Takeaways

  • Curiosity can open unexpected doors: Tere’s journey shows how following your interests can lead to surprising experiences, new skills and entirely different directions.
  • It’s never too late to try something new: Discover how being a beginner, exploring different interests and looking at your existing skills differently can create exciting possibilities for your next chapter.

Date: Wednesday 14th October

Time & format: The course will start at 10am, with a coffee and tea break followed by a lively facilitated discussion to answer all your curious questions. The course will finish at 12pm each week.

Location: We are delighted to be hosting at The Hygge Cafe at Clifton Bay
