Art, Nature & Nourishment: A Matakana Immersion - Auckland Learning Adventure

Step away from the pace of the everyday and into a landscape where art, nature, and good food come together in effortless harmony. This Learning Adventure invites our Love Heart learners to explore the Matakana region through a thoughtfully curated blend of creativity, conversation, and connection. From bold and playful sculpture to the quiet beauty of native bush and coastline, the day unfolds as a series of experiences designed to engage the senses and spark reflection.

At Sculptureum, art reveals itself in unexpected ways. Sometimes playful, sometimes provocative, always engaging. As you move between curated indoor galleries and expansive outdoor gardens, you’ll encounter works that invite curiosity and interpretation. This is art that encourages conversation, where meaning isn’t prescribed, but discovered through personal perspective.

At Tāwharanui, native bush, open coastline, and protected habitats come together in a landscape shaped by both nature and conservation effort. Walking here is less about distance and more about awareness - the sound of birdsong, the movement of the wind, the rhythm of the tide.

There will also be time to enjoy the Matakana Village where we will be stopping for lunch and to take a moment to gather and connect.

With a small group size to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience, early booking is recommended.
