Your day begins with a scenic group bus ride to Arataki Honey in Havelock North. Following a warm welcome, you will delve into the fascinating world of apiculture with a hands-on candle-making workshop, paired with a self-guided tour of the facility to understand the intricate workings of the hive.

The journey continues to the historic Brookfields Vineyards. Here, you will be treated to a delightful shared platter lunch and wine tasting session. Rachel, the owner’s daughter, will provide an engaging educational talk, unveiling one of the oldest and most revered winemaking techniques still practiced today.

To conclude this sweet and savoury expedition, we visit The Silky Oak Chocolates. Experience a guided factory tour where experts explain the delicate chocolate-making process as you observe through viewing windows. Afterward, indulge in a curated chocolate trio tasting and step back in time with admission to the “Chocolate Thru’ the Ages” museum—the only comprehensive chocolate museum in the Southern Hemisphere, spanning 3,000 years of rich history.
