SESSION Abstract: Living with Birds with Bernie Kelly
In the New Zealand context, birds hold an elevated status. We study them, we look at them and sometimes even eat them. What is it about birds that hold our interest and why do we go to such extreme lengths to save some of the more threatened species?
Let’s all go on a journey of sorts to help answer these questions and travel vicariously to the wildlands they inhabit.
Date: Thursday 2nd July
Time & Format:
The course will start at 10am, with a coffee and tea break followed by a lively facilitated discussion to answer all your curious questions. The course will finish at 12pm each week.
Location: We are delighted to be hosting at Birdwoods Gallery, 298 Middle Road, Havelock North, Hawke’s Bay
