As we move through our 60s and beyond, we often notice shifts in energy, confidence, and how we respond to stress - moments where it can feel harder to regain momentum.
In this Learning Lunch, Dr Galia BarHava introduces the idea of “downward spirals” - the natural loops between our thoughts, emotions, and physical state that can either drain or restore us.
Drawing lightly on contemporary science, including psychology, psychoneuroimmunology, and Polyvagal Theory, this session offers an accessible and practical introduction to the mind–body connection.
The focus is on simple, everyday ways to shift your state, restore clarity, and gently move back into a sense of steadiness and forward motion.
