Paul Wilcox is the Chief Executive Officer of Auckland Thoroughbred Racing (ATR), New Zealand’s premier thoroughbred racing organisation. Since joining ATR in 2017, Paul has led significant organisational transformation, including the merger of Auckland and Pukekohe racing clubs, major infrastructure investments, and the development of a more commercially focused operating model. With a career spanning executive leadership roles at ATR, New Zealand Bloodstock, and Lion, Paul brings extensive experience in business transformation, governance, stakeholder engagement, and strategic growth. He is passionate about building high-performing teams and ensuring the long-term success and sustainability of New Zealand racing.
